This Sunday from 2- 4pm children and families are invited to Apple Day at Horfield Organic Community Orchard.

The event will be a celebration of the world’s most delicious and diverse fruit and will feature an Apple Tasting Table with more than twenty varieties to try.

Children – and grown-ups – can also have a go at making apple juice!

The Pigsty Morris Dancers will be at the event making merry, plus there will also be refreshments on offer such as fresh pressed apple juice and delicious home-made cakes to enjoy.

There will also be plants, produce and fruit trees for sale.

You can find Horfield Organic Community Orchard by taking Gaston Lane which is between 134 – 136 Longmead Avenue until you reach the last gate on your left.

Or, you can find Gaston Lane besides 22 Kings Drive, turn left and take the first gate on the right.

Apple Day will be a wonderful way for the local community to come together and celebrate Autumn.
