This Halloween there are some great events and activities for babies and children in Bishopston and surrounding areas.

FRIDAY 28th OCTOBER
Halloween Fundraising Party: St Alban’s Church, Westbury Park
The Party promises to be brilliant fun for children and families and includes a fancy dress competition, face painting and Halloween-themed games, such as “mummies”, ‘ghost’ bowling, pumpkin races, guess the numbers of worms and more!
But, as well as being great fun for all who come along, the party will also be fundraising for an ongoing project organised by the UK-based charity, Play Kenya.

Halloween Special Holiday Club: St Andrew’s Park
This is a holiday club session run by the brilliant Outdoors Project for children aged 5 – 12 and has a special Halloween theme.
Children are invited to come dresses as the Undead and there will be lots of Halloween games such as Zombie Eyeball Run, Ninja Warrior assault course team time trial, Don’t drop your eyeballs, The Great Pumpkin RELAY and
Nerfaggedon – all things Nerf!

SATURDAY 29th OCTOBER
Baby Pumpkin Party: St Bart’s Church, St Andrew’s
A Baby Pumpkin Party hosted by Vicky Oliver from Baby Sensory Bristol North for mums, dads, grandparents and carers and their little ones!
Activities and props will include specialist sensory fibre optic strand lights, flashing pom-poms, flashing maracas, parachute and a baby safe bonfire (textures and lights only, no real fire!).
Party times:
- 10:00-11:00 (birth to 13mths)
- 11:30 – 12:30 (birth to 13mths)
- 13:00-14:00 (birth to 13mths)
Cost per baby is £15 including drinks and nibbles. Discount for twins. Limited availability (only 3 sessions running) so early booking advisable.

Come and enjoy Halloween with fancy-dress, barbecue, music and lots of fun at the Café on the Common!
The café will be decorated in true Halloween style and there will also be a Horfield Common Halloween Parade. Prizes for the best fancy dressed children and grown ups!

SUNDAY 30th OCTOBER
Mexican Day of the Dead Celebrations at Bristol Museum
Not too far from Bishopston, this is a family-friendly event at Bristol Museum celebrating Day of the Dead, the Mexican festival where families gather to remember their dead.
There will be lots of activities for children to enjoy such as colourful Day of the Dead crafts, face painting, plus traditional Mexican dancing to watch.
