If you like the sound of an outdoor parent and toddler group with great activities all inspired by nature then read on!
The Outdoors Project runs ‘Saplings‘ parent and toddler nature groups in St Andrews Park, St Andrews (Thursdays 10 – 11.15am) and Victoria park, Bedminster (Fridays 10 – 11.15am) every week in term-time.
The groups are inspired by the forest school ethos and principles with activities based around nature with a different theme each week, all with the aim of helping young children learn about the Great Outdoors.
Saplings is for children aged 18 months – 4 years but Saplings under 18 months go free. There are bug hunts, outdoor art, stories, games, and many more fun outdoor activities!
Saplings is run by qualified outdoor leaders who are also first aid trained and DBS checked. Sessions are held whatever the weather!
A new term of Saplings starts after May half-term and will be held at St Andrew’s Park on Thursdays in term-time at 10 – 11.15am.
The course will run for 7 weeks and costs £49.
Saplings is run by The Outdoors Project which also offers high-energy holiday club activities to older children aged 5 – 12 in half-term and holidays, plus birthday parties, too.
