Introducing Bristol Sings, a festive community event which hopes to get as many people singing Christmas carols on their doorsteps on the evening of 5th December!
Organised by two BS7 mums, Ruth Woodsend and Joanna Waldock, the project aims to bring some much-needed festive cheer to people of all ages.
The event was originally intended to take place in the local area, however, it was met with so much enthusiasm, that it will now take place all over Bristol.
Ruth explains: “Bristol Sings started out as a project in the BS7 area, but it has taken on a wonderful life of its own. We hope now that we can get as many people involved as possible!”
The free event is sponsored by Elephant Estate Agents, enabling 5,000 carol booklets to be printed out which will be distributed in the next few day. However, people can also look at the carol booklet on their phones or print off their own copy at home using this link.
Bristol Sings will take place at 5.30pm on Saturday 5th December and all are invited to take part. You can find out more information here.
