Gymboree Play & Music: Westbury-on-Trym
Gymboree offers fun, engaging, age appropriate classes for children from birth to 5 years. Sessions use music, song, dance and imaginative play to create a wonderful learning experience for all little ones.

As well as your weekly class booking, membership includes access to daily free play sessions and unlimited make-ups policy if you miss a class.

First class is free.

Tiny Talk: Horfield United Reformed Church

Tiny Talk baby classes are suitable from birth – 4 years and run in term-time.

You and your baby will learn a weekly theme of useful signs related to words about the family, playing at home, going to the park bedtime, meal times and more, plus sing, sign, bounce and giggle as you join in with action songs and nursery rhymes and develop skills such as listening and visual tracking, build on fine motor skills and vocal skills through a range of sensory activities.

Babies will also play instruments to accompany songs, experience bright and beautiful sensory toys such as voile scarves, tactile shapes, flashing balls, stretchy Lycra, bubbles, mirrors and enjoy stunning quality music.

The classes are a great way to make friends and recharge your batteries (with refreshments for you) while your little one enjoys some playtime.

Monkey Trousers Theatre’s Mr Gotalot’s Pop-Up Shop: Horfield Baptist Church
Interactive storytelling adventures for 2 – 5 year olds every Friday in term-time.

With puppets, singing, dancing and games galore, join Monkey Trousers Theatre on a fantastic new interactive adventure.

Shows last approximately 45 minutes.

Preschool Gymnastics: Bristol School of Gymnastics
Gymnastics classes suitable for children aged over 3 which are designed to give a wide physical education. There are a maximum of 15 children in a class with 3 coaches. Children stay on their own – parents are able to watch the the last session of each course.

The classes are based on themes. There is a group activity at the start, then the children are split into 3 groups to work on the apparatus. They then have time to play and finish with a song.

Children are all provided with a drink and biscuit before they go home.

Babel Babies: KudaCan

Babel Babies - colours

Learn languages with your little ones! Fun multisensory music and movement sessions exploring foreign languages with songs and stories from around the world. Accompanying adults can learn alongside the children, it’s never too early or too late to start learning and loving languages.

Chatterbox: Horfield Baptist Church
Chatterbox is a lively happy playgroup for toddlers from o – preschool age and their carers, whether parents, grandparents or other carers.

It is an opportunity for the children to play, and carers to get to know each other in a relaxed environment. The sessions are term time only on Friday mornings from 10 – 12 and we would love to hear from you if you are interested in joining us with your little ones.

Please contact elsie.murray@sky.com for further information and who will be happy to register and add your child to the waiting list which is currently operating, as although the hall is large and accommodating the volunteers do their best to avoid overcrowding.

Come along and join this local support group if you are breastfeeding or pregnant at any stage of your journey. Support, information & a chance to chat with other mums & trained breastfeeding peer supporters in a relaxed setting.
