Bean Stork Baby Massage 1: Yogafurie
Bean Stork offers a 5-week course in BabyNatal Developmental Baby Massage Stage 1 suitable from birth to 12 weeks. The course is especially designed to calm, soothe and relax your baby supporting their natural development.

You will learn developmental baby massage, holds, gentle movement and relaxation to support you and your baby through your ‘fourth trimester’ transition. Classes are friendly and tranquil and incorporate song, sign and parent and baby mindfulness. Babies are clothed throughout the massage section.

Anne, founder of Bean Stork is a fully qualified Antenatal and Postnatal Practitioner trained by BabyNatal.

BabyNatal Developmental Baby Massage Classes will;
👣Encourage bonding and positive attachment
👣 Help to develop joint flexibility and muscle strength appropriate to your baby’s developmental stage
👣 Teach you ways to relieve colic symptoms and aid digestion

Bean Stork Baby Massage 2: Yogafurie
Bean Stork offers a 5-week course in BabyNatal Developmental Baby Massage Stage 2 suitable for babies from 12 weeks to crawling. Classes combine developmental baby massage with song, sign and sensory play creating a fun class for you and your baby.

BabyNatal Developmental baby massage will;
👣 Help to develop joint flexibility and muscle strength appropriate to your baby’s developmental stage
👣 Teach you ways to relieve colic symptoms and aid digestion
👣 Help to relax your baby which can aid sleep
👣Explore ways to play with your baby at home
👣Teach you positions to help ease your baby into tummy time, sitting, crawling and standing depending on their stage of development

  • Mondays 10.45-11.45am (continues through the Summer)
  • £47 for the 5 week course
  • Coconut oil will be provided, however please bring a towel or blanket for your baby to lie on
  • If you know you will be unable to attend a session you can make it up in the following term (subject to availability)

Drop-in Playgroup for babies and young children aged 0 – 3 years. Toys, puzzles, craft activities, outdoor area and more. Refreshments for parents/carers and children.

Horfield ‘Toddling Wellies’ Parent & Toddler Group
A parent/toddler group for babies and young children aged 0-4 years. Each session typically includes toys, puzzles, craft activities, singing and a large garden in which to play.

Meet family support workers as well as socialise with others from the community. Refreshments for parents/carers and children provided. Waiting list at present.

Gentle rhymes and songs for babies.  Breastfeeding welcome.

MONDAY AFTERNOON

Preschool Gymnastics: Bristol School of Gymnastics
Gymnastics classes suitable for children aged over 3 which are designed to give a wide physical education. There are a maximum of 15 children in a class with 3 coaches. Children stay on their own – parents are able to watch the the last session of each course.

The classes are based on themes. There is a group activity at the start, then the children are split into 3 groups to work on the apparatus. They then have time to play and finish with a song.

Children are all provided with a drink and biscuit before they go home.
