Bishop Road Primary School Summer Fair
Lots of activities and plenty of fun to keep the whole family entertained. Splat the Rat, cocoanut shy, lucky dip and yucky dip! Face-painting, glitter tattoos, a sports corner, inflatables, live music, delicious food and cakes and other refreshments, plus alcoholic drinks for the grown-ups!

SUNDAY 24th JUNE

SENDaWelcome Summer Social: St Michael’s Church, Bishopston
An event for children and teenagers with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), their families and friends. Great activities including Nelly the Dog, face painting, the Sensory Truck (book sessions for the sensory truck here), the Children’s Scrapstore, Circomedia and cake decorating with Baby Bites.

There will also be tea, coffee and cake – please bring a cake to share!

SENDaWelcome is a small group of local volunteers working in BS7 to make our community a more inclusive place for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

SATURDAY 21st JULY

Horfield Common Fun Dog Show
All welcome to join FoHC and friends for this fun, friendly fundraiser. Categories will be published here nearer the time, but there will definitely be stiff competition for the best trick, dog which looks most like its owner and best fancy dress!

‘Ragtime & Rumba’ Music Workshop for Children: Trinity Church, Henleaze
A non-profit children’s music workshop presented by Bristol Symphony Orchestra. String and wind players will perform dances, rags, jigs and stomps and children will be encouraged to join in by clapping, dancing, conducting and even playing along!

Bristol Plays Music is supporting the event by providing mini wind instruments as well as small violins / cellos for children to play and join in. The workshop will last for 45-minutes with 15 mins afterwards for children to try out other orchestral instruments.

Ideal for children aged 3-8 years but siblings welcome and pre-walkers are free. Limited tickets so pre-booking necessary.

Bring along your broken goods and the brilliant team of repair volunteers will try their hardest to help you fix them! A great way of  reducing landfill, household costs and promoting the reuse of as many items as possible.
