Looking for a fun, free outdoor activity that helps nature thrive?
Come along to a Wildflower Seed Scatter event by Horfield Common on Sunday 27th July, and be part of creating beautiful new wildflower patches for everyone to enjoy!

This all-ages event is a great way to get outdoors and help support local biodiversity.
Volunteers will collect seeds by hand from the existing wildflower patch along Kellaway Avenue and scatter them across newly prepared areas near Western Road.

Then it’s time to give nature a gentle helping hand — with your feet! We’ll be tamping down the seeds by walking on them — no tools required. Just bring weather-appropriate clothing and gloves if you’d prefer to wear them.

Whether you’re a keen gardener, a family looking for a nature-inspired activity, or simply someone who loves their local green space, you’re warmly invited to join in.

If you have any questions feel free to email fohorfieldcommon@gmail.com for more info.

Let’s bring even more colour and life to Horfield Common — one seed at a time!
