A community event where volunteer repairers help fix household items, small electricals, clothing, toys, and other belongings to reduce waste and encourage reuse.
Bring your broken items along and volunteer “fixers” will work with you to try to repair them.
The aim is to reduce waste going to landfill, save money by repairing rather than replacing, share practical repair skills, and build community connections.

Community Meal & Thursday Church at Ebenezer Church
When: Second Thursday of every month, 6.30pm to 7.15pm

Looking for a friendly, welcoming place to share a meal and connect with others in the local community? Ebenezer Church in Horfield hosts a free Community Meal on the second Thursday of every month, open to everyone.
Join the community from 6.30pm to 7.15pm for a simple, free meal. Afterwards, you’re warmly invited to stay for Thursday Church at 7.30pm, although you’re very welcome to attend either event independently.
Everyone is welcome, whether you’re new to the area, looking to meet people, or simply fancy sharing a meal in good company.
