Fised Italian, Gloucester Road: Fresh, Homemade & Affordable Italian Food

Fised - focaccia with cherry tomatoes

My children and I love eating out though we don’t do this much due to cost. So I am pleased that a new Italian eatery has just opened on Gloucester Road which offers truly amazing food that is also super-cheap!

Fised Italian Restaurant opened just two weeks ago on 386 Gloucester Road and my kids and I went along to the opening night. There we were introduced to some absolutely delicious real-deal Italian cooking!

What sets Fised Italian apart from many other Italian restaurants and pizzerias is that all of the food is freshly cooked, traditional Italian food and homemade, right down to the biscuit of the tiramisu. And all meat that is used is from Dave Giles Butchers and the bread is from Joe’s Bakery.

The meatballs and Milanese pizza are both made from secret recipes, passed down to Giuseppe, the owner of Fised Italian, from his mother in Italy. My kids and I tried both on the restaurant’s opening night, yummy I can assure you!

Fised Italian runs on a hot table basis so that it is open at particular times of the day with food ready to go. You can drop in for lunch or an evening out and bring your own bottle to enjoy. Or you can grab a takeaway, as Fised Italian also offers a takeaway service.  Veggie, vegan and gluten-free food is always available.

  • Fri & Sat: 5.30 – 10pm

Kids are welcomed at Fised Italian and there are high chairs available. My kids really enjoyed themselves at there and they loved Giuseppe’s Milanese pizza as well!
