What age is Horfield Welly Toddler Group aimed at/ideal for in your opinion?

It is aimed at 0-4 years, in my opinion ideal for 6 months-3 year olds.

What toys and activities are available?

Outdoor play, creative/art table, play kitchen, baby area (bouncers/baby toys), different play areas each week (for example train set, play dough, puzzles, climbing frame), group songs.

What is the routine of the group?

Free play, snack time – coffee/tea/milk/water and biscuits, free play, tidy-up time, group songs.

What is the entry price?

£2.50.

Would you say Welly Toddler Group is a friendly group or did it take a while to get to know other parents/carers?

Friendly group of parents, Welly staff are welcoming and the volunteer running group songs is great at bringing parents together.

In your opinion what are the best bits and the worst bits about this group?

Best – group songs and Christmas (Father Christmas attends!) and end of term parties. Worst – can’t think of anything!

Is there anything else that you would like to add about this playgroup?

It gives a good grounding for Big Wellies Preschool. My son goes to Big Wellies now that he is 3 and I feel it was easier to leave him knowing he had been to the same location and knew some faces from Welly Toddler Group.
