On Saturday 10th December Horfield Methodist Church will be holding its annual Christmas Journey event for local children.
The Christmas Journey is about 30 minutes long and takes children on a real adventure!
It’s an amazing event – I did this with my own children a couple of years ago and I definitely recommend going.
Members of Horfield Methodist Church several days preparing the church in the lead-up to the event, making tunnels and little rooms as part of the Christmas Journey.
There are puppets, music and storytelling along the way, plus characters from the nativity to meet.
It is great fun and there are also crafts to do before and after.
The event is free and takes place from 9.30am – 2.15pm this coming Saturday. There are 8 different time slots to book a place on.
There will be refreshments available to buy including tasty bacon butties – all profits from refreshments go towards the cost of holding this event.
All are welcome, however pre-booking is essential – email messy@horfieldmethodist.org.uk.
