On Saturday 21st January there will be a Wassail and New Year’s celebrations at the Boiling Wells Orchard at St Werburghs City Farm.
As you may know, a Wassail is an old, English tradition held once a year in mid-Winter and involves blessing and celebrating fruit trees to encourage a good Harvest later in the year.
As well as the Wassail, there will be some great activities for children and families at the event such as free crafts, storytelling, live music, food and drink including mulled cider.
Boiling Wells is a green and beautiful 2.5 acre site, situated within a woodland valley and the farm hosts many other family-friendly activities there throughout the year.
Entry to the event is £5 per adult, £2 per teen and children go free.
You can find Boiling Wells on Boiling Wells Lane, St Werburghs, BS2 9XY. No parking is permitted on Boiling Wells Lane, and no dogs (except guide dogs) are allowed on site.
The Wassail and New Year celebrations will be sure to lift your spirits on these cold Winter days!
