If you have ever considered teaching as a career you might be interested to hear that Fairfield High School is currently offering members of the local community the chance to do a one-year PGCE at the school from September this year.

The opportunity is being organised through the Excalibur Teaching School Alliance in collaboration with Bristol University and Bath Spa University.

To help you decide whether teaching might be for you, Fairfield High School has organised a School Experience Day on Wednesday 15th March.

This event will give you the chance to visit the school for a day from 9.30am – 1pm to experience life in the classroom and observe experienced teachers in lessons.

It is expected that successful students accepted onto the course will have up to 10 days school experience prior to starting.
