On Saturday 29th July, the Friends of Horfield Common are holding a Fun Dog Show and Summer Picnic and all are invited!

The Fun Dog Show takes place in the morning from 10am – 12 noon, with the judging starting at 10.30am.

Categories include Fastest Bonio Eater, Best Trick, Golden Oldie, the dog that looks most like it’s owner and more!

The dog show will be followed by the picnic in the afternoon from 12 – 4pm. There’ll be music, games and more so bring a blanket and some food and get ready for an afternoon of fun!

The brilliant Café on the Common will also be open to buy food if you’d prefer not to bring your own picnic.

The day of fun is an annual event organised by the FOHC and is free though there is a £1 entry fee for the dog show. Donations towards the FOHC are welcome.

Both the dog show and picnic will be held on Horfield Common, near the Ardagh Pavillion.

The event will be great fun and a perfect way to spend a day with your family, friends and neighbours.
