Are you interested in becoming a local school governor?
The Ashley Down Schools Federation is currently looking for enthusiastic people interested in local education provision to apply for the role of school governor.
The school has three vacancies to fill. Potential applicants do not need to come from any particular professional background or “walk of life”.
However, they should be prepared to devote at least 4-5 four hours each school term to the role and should be dedicated to ensuring excellent education provision for local children.
If you are interested in finding out more please contact the school’s Clerk, Anne Alderman, annie.alderman@bristol-schools.uk.
Anne will send you further information and an application form and can arrange a discussion with one of the governors if you would like more information on the role before you apply.
