Life in Badminton Junior School is full of adventure, fun and learning. From the age of three, girls in the Little Acorns Nursery enjoy Forest School, ballet lessons, French lessons and twice weekly swimming lessons in the school’s onsite pool in between lots of imaginative play and creative or physical activities. Sessions are £27 including extended day care (7.45am-5.45pm) at no extra cost.
Junior School girls up to the age of 11 develop a love for learning in a happy, safe and encouraging environment. Small class sizes, specialist teaching and excellent pastoral care ensure that every child reaches her true potential by exploring her talents and interests.
Above all, the Junior School is a happy place, full of excitement and curiosity where everyone feels confident to take part. Badminton is now a Tax-Free Childcare provider: helping families access the best education for girls in the Junior School.
Senior School girls learn to reach individual goals and achievements, all fostered in an holistic learning environment with a rich range of co-curricular options. At Badminton School the Sixth Form girls’ timetable is scheduled around their A Level subjects’ choices which is unique compared to many other schools.
Badminton School also has a range of opportunities for Junior and Senior Girls in our new multi-million pound Sports Centre and with our Sports Partnerships. Its opening at the start of this term, complete with fencing piste, cricket nets and climbing wall shows our continued recognition of the importance that sport plays in lives of our pupils.
Did you know Sixth Form Day Girl Awards, scholarships and bursaries are available at Badminton School? Contact the school to find out more.
The school’s fantastic A Levels and GCSE grades also truly make it stand out. An impressive 55.2% of grades awarded at A Level were at A*-A, 95% of Sixth Form girls achieved the university place of their choice and this included 4 Oxbridge places.
Alongside this, at GCSE, an outstanding 87% of all grades awarded were at A*-A / 9-7 and the Daily Telegraph league tables had the school ranked as the highest performing school in the South West.
For many of these girls, their triumphs outside of the classroom in their extra-curricular activities shone as brightly as their triumphs inside the classroom. The staff at Badminton are subject enthusiasts and ensure a holistic approach to learning that enables the girls to have a deep understanding of their subjects.
