The Easter holidays are steadily approaching and there’s lots of fun lined up for local kids with The Outdoors Project!

There are nine high-energy, all-weather holiday club sessions running from Monday 8th April to Thursday 18th April, 10am – 3pm, seven of which will be held in St Andrew’s Park in BS6 and two sessions which will take place in Oldbury Court, BS16.

The children will be busy with different activities every day, making new friends, enjoying the outdoors and developing new skills. No two days will be the same.

Sessions include a Big Wild Easter Egg Hunt, King Arthur Day, Harry Potter Day, Roald Dahl Day, Nerf Fortnite, Giant Bubble Wands & Circus Skills, Back to Basics Bushcraft, Pirate Ship Adventure, Nerfaggedon and Stream Walk!

All sessions are run by fully qualified outdoor pursuits instructors who are also DBS and First Aid Checked.

Each session will be from 10am – 3pm and you can book as many of the holiday club sessions as you wish.

Each session is £25 per child. If you book 5 sessions you will receive a discount and only be charged for the price of 4 (phone booking only – tel. 07722 996 025).

Children need to bring a packed lunch, suitable outdoor footwear, coat/waterproof or hat/sunscreen as appropriate.

Monday 8th April, 10.00am – 3:00pm / St Andrews Park – BRISTOL / £25.00
BACK TO BASICS BUSHCRAFT  – Fire Lighting & Den building skills.
Today the kids will learn some new skills and have fun in a camp setting. Learn how to build a freestanding shelter to camp out in this team challenge.  Learn, practice and understand fire lighting techniques and get the chance to toast some smores over the open fire along with plenty of fun games.

NERF FORTNITE – Loot Llama’s Revenge – Part 2.0
Taking elements of the popular video game and combining with our usual antics in the outdoors. Build, forage and survive the apocalypse with you’re squad! Teams must collect resources, build fortifications and set traps that help fight the storm and protect the remaining survivors. Search and seek out the Loot Llama to collect care packages on your way. The storm is coming!!

KING ARTHUR, The Kid Who Would Be King.
A land is only as good as its leaders!  A true King is brave and noble. You have more battles left to fight, now you must choose what you stand for.   Carve & forge your own Excalibur, make potions with Merlin and join the knights from the round table for Medieval game play. In the words of Monty Python  “Camelot is a silly place.”

Thursday 11th April – 10.00am – 3:00pm / St Andrews Park – BRISTOL / £25.00
GIANT BUBBLE WANDS Workshop & Circus Skills.
Join us for a day of fun in the park.  Make your own giant bubble wand and  have a go at new skills including; Diablo, juggling, hula hooping, pedal racers and unicycles.

Friday 12th April – 10:00am – 3:00pm / Oldbury Court, BRISTOL / £25.00
STREAM WALK – Scrambling, MEGA Rope Swing, Bridge Building, River paddling, Exploring. This is a big day, for the most intrepid. Bring a change of clothes and boots/shoes that can get wet and a rucksack for carrying everything – you will need your hands free to pull on ropes, climb over rocks and navigate down miniature waterfalls.

Monday 15th April – 10:00am – 3:00pm / St Andrews Park – BRISTOL / £25.00
PIRATE SHIP ADVENTURE. Create treasure maps, Walk the Plank. Build and sink ships and fire CANONS, Treasure hunt. Barrell roll and Peg Leg Races. Pirate Invasion Game. Dress to impress!

Tuesday 16th April – 10:00am – 3:00pm / St Andrews Park – BRISTOL / £25.00
NERFAGEDDON – all things Nerf. All Things Nerf; Tactical and Team games – Hunger Games, Zombie Strike, Crystal Skull, Commando vs Crusader, Man Down and Blind Deal.

THE BIG WILD EGG DAY – An Eggciting day of Easter egg hunting, Catapult Egg launchers and scavenger hunts all with a chocolate treat and fun in the park.
