Today the beautiful Golden Hill Community Garden is holding a special Open Day as part of the Get Growing Trail AND Bristol Food Connections Festival!

Everyone’s welcome to drop-in to enjoy some wonderful child-friendly activities including helping to make and then eat some of ‘the best pizza in the world’!

Children can help with the watering in the polytunnels, and there’ll be pond dipping as well as a digging bed with lots of toys!

You can learn more about getting involved with the garden or plant a seed to take home. There will also be a chance to have a tour of the garden and there will be plants for sale, plus CAKE!

Horfield Community Orchard is also holding an Open Day today from 1-5pm (see more about this here).

The Golden Hill Community Garden will be open from 12-3pm. Have fun!
