On Thursday 23rd April the Friends of Bishopston Library are hosting World Book Night Online and are inviting all of the community to take part!
Prior to lockdown, the group had initially planned to host an evening of informal book talks. As this event can no longer take place, organisers have decided that World Book Night will take place online instead.
The library has published four book-related questions for you to answer which you will find below. Your answers can be emailed to am.boulton@outlook.com and all results will be collated and published on World Book Night. Reasons for your choices would be especially welcome, also. Once the library has re-opened, organisers will be creating a display with the results.
- Which book would you save from the fire or flood?
- What is your favourite childhood book?
- Which book do you urge all your friends to read?
- Which author never lets you down?
Organisers will use first names only when publishing the results. Enjoy World Book Night!
