Horfield Welly Pre-school was rated as “outstanding” by Ofsted in September 2019 and is located at Horfield Parish Church Hall in BS7.  It offers a large indoors and outdoor garden space, fun activities and forest school opportunities galore!

Open four mornings a week (15 hours) from Tuesday to Friday from 9.15am -1pm, it is run by friendly staff who are also highly skilled and qualified.

There is a range of wonderful activities for children available at Horfield Welly. As well as lots of educational toys and fun activities to enjoy every day, there are also trips out into the local community, such as visiting old people’s homes for Christmas singing performances, forest school activities, plus a local drama leader regularly visits and holds imaginative dramatic play sessions!

Horfield Welly Pre-school maintains strong relationships with parents and carers of its children.  Parents are welcomed into the setting to help with the daily snack routine and can read stories or share a skill too, if they wish!

In addition to Horfield Welly Pre-school, there is also a popular friendly Monday toddler group at the setting, which runs from 10-11.30am with one of the preschool’s highly experienced practitioners who is fun, kind and loves to sing and get everyone together!
