Winter nights are always long and dark, but this winter has been especially hard for many during lockdown.
So the return of Bishopston Window Wanderland will bring some much-needed cheer and excitement to many children and adults!
Bishopston Window Wanderland 2021 will take place on the evenings of Saturday 6th to Monday 8th March, and is free, outdoors and covid-compliant, and everyone is welcome to take part.
This year, however, Bishopston Window Wanderland will be a little different. With life being as it is, the organisers are proposing that you leave your display up for longer than one weekend, ideally until the clocks go forward on Sunday 28th March.
This way there’s no pressure for everyone to wander on that one particular weekend, keeping the streets quieter and enabling everyone to avoid crowds. Plus, our streets will sparkle for that bit longer!
Taking part in the event is simple. You can create a window design of your choice, from simple to spectacular, anything goes as long as it’s family-friendly.
You can use tried and tested black card silhouettes, video, pets or even yourself to make a display.
You can be sure that the many people who take to the streets on the Bishopston Window Wanderland weekend, will be excited and happy to see whatever you create!
