This Easter, the Golden Hill Community Garden will be holding ‘Golden Fun Adventure Days’ for children 6 – 12 years of age. There will be den building, archery, plus storytelling, pizza made from the Garden’s own Froggy pizza oven, plus a chance for children to become an outlaw for the day and join Robin Hood in Sherwood Forest!
Lucy Mitchell, Community Project Worker for the garden, explains:
“We are inviting 6-12 years olds to come and live the story of Robin Hood. At they enter the garden they will enter the story become outlaws – the Merry Mates- and the day of activities will be a fully immersive day, weaving storytelling with adventure, arts and activities. Where else could they have so much fun, get such a work out for the imagination and eat such tasty pizza?!
The dates the Golden Fun Adventure Days will be on Tuesday 8th and Tuesday 15th April 10am – 4pm. It is £25 per day which includes lunch and snacks.
If you would like your child to take part in one or both of the Golden Fun Adventure Days, please email Lucy on ghcgarden@gmail.com.
