This weekend will be an especially busy one in Bishopston and surrounding areas as there are several great events planned for local parents and children.
Whether you fancy meeting Andy Day from CBeebies on Gloucester Road (yes really!), or going on a scavenger hunt with the wonderful Friends of Horfield Common or picking up a bargain or two at a Winter Fair, below are some great events for families living in and near Bishopston this weekend.

This Saturday CBeebies star Andy day will be performing songs from his new album Andy & the Odd Socks on our very own Gloucester Road! Andy will be outside Room 212 from 2 – 3pm and he will also be signing copies of his CDs.

If you are a reuse and recycling fan with some creative imagination then come and join the Friends of Horfield Common on a local scavenger hunt to see what you can find to transform the wonderful new cafe container-space!
Suitable for 14 years+. Please wear clothes suitable for the weather, sturdy shoes and bring gloves if you have them. The scavenger hunt sets off at 12 noon. All welcome.
