This Summer the brilliant Cairns Café will be open to young children and families on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 24th July – 18th August.

All parents and carers with young children are welcome to drop-in any time on these dates from 10am – 2pm.

Free entry, Cairns Café is run by welcoming volunteers and is based at Cairns Road Baptist Church on Cairns Road, Westbury park.

It includes a large play area for under 5s with climbing apparatus, plus a special space for babies and crawlers which includes some baby-friendly toys and activities for them to enjoy.

Very reasonably priced drinks, cakes, and light lunches will be served, including “Children’s Lunchbox” platters where you can select five healthy items for your child for £1.50.

And, as you will know if you have already visited Cairns Café, the many cakes served there are out of this world: delicious and freshly home-made!

The café will close for 2 weeks from the last day open on Friday18th August and then re-open on Wednesday 6th September.
