On Saturday 9th September the Golden Hill Community Garden will be holding a Harvest Fair and all of the community are invited.
Taking place from 1 – pm, there will be lots of fun for both children and grown-ups.
There will be a vegetable creature making competition (bring any spare veg if you have it), face painting, pond dipping, apple bobbing and giant games.
There will also be a sensory play and calm zone inside, a sensory trail and the garden fair fairy will be on hand for people who might need a bit more support.
They’ll be a quiz for cryptic minded grown-ups and live music will add to the merry atmosphere.
Plus, delicious cakes and pizza fresh from the garden’s pizza-making oven will be on offer!
Golden Hill Community Garden can be located behind the prison on Monk Road, Bishopston BS7 8EN.
The Harvest Fair will be a wonderful community event and a great way to celebrate the garden’s harvest.
