Introducing RamiYoga: New Yoga Classes For Local Parents

Having trouble getting to yoga because you have a baby?

Introducing RamiYoga, a new yoga class where babies are welcome!

RamiYoga classes have been set up by Rami Hassan, a fully qualified yoga instructor who has been practicing yoga for nearly 20 years.

Classes are different from ‘baby yoga’ which involves the baby in the practice. RamiYoga classes are for mums, dads or caregivers where you can bring your baby if you wish.

Classes are suitable for all abilities and you will be guided through a 45-minute vinyasa flow class.

The Leonard Hall in Henleaze provides plenty of room for your baby to be near you in the class – you could bring a mat for them to sleep on, or to play alongside you. Your baby can be in their prams or car seats if you prefer.

The atmosphere will be relaxed and friendly, with everyone feeling comfortable to attend to the needs of their child at any point during the class.

Rami explains:

“As a parent myself I know how hard it can be to find the time and space for yoga and personal time to nurture our body and mind. I hope to be able to offer an opportunity for parents to re-charge and relax, whilst not having to worry about childcare.”

Mums should wait until 3 months after birth before coming to these classes to ensure their body is ready for these exercises.

The class will work best if babies are non-mobile to early crawlers.  Classes start on Wednesday 9th January, 2019.
