Life in Badminton Junior School is full of adventure, fun and learning. From the age of three, girls in the Little Acorns Nursery enjoy Forest School, ballet lessons, French lessons and twice weekly swimming lessons in the school’s onsite pool, in between lots of imaginative play and creative or physical activities. Sessions are £28 including extended day care (7.45am-5.45pm) at no extra cost.

Junior School girls up to the age of 11 develop a love for learning in a happy, safe and encouraging environment. Small class sizes, specialist teaching and excellent pastoral care ensure that every child reaches her true potential by exploring her talents and interests. Above all, the Junior School is a happy place, full of excitement and curiosity where everyone feels confident to take part.

It’s in the Senior School at Badminton where students really start to push the boundaries on putting learning into action. Girls at Badminton get to know more than a thin veneer of facts, they get to understand the how and why and, most importantly, if they enjoy engaging with their objects in a real world sense. Being a small school, everyone at Badminton knows what each individual girl is trying to achieve, which means they can assist, encourage and celebrate their journey, no matter how big or small.

In the Sixth Form, girls at Badminton have a timetable that is scheduled around their A Level subjects’ choices, as opposed to the other way round, which is unique compared to many other schools. They are the southwest hub for the Law Portal and Medics Portal, they offer opportunities that enrich university personal statements and CVs including Leiths School of Food and Wine, EPQ and Model United Nations. They ensure girls leave Badminton after Sixth Form fully equipped with the tools and life skills she needs to not only succeed in the next steps of her learning journey, but to thrive in the global world beyond.
