Christmas Wreath Making at the Golden Hill Community Garden

Here’s a fun and festive event to look forward to post lockdown! The wonderful Golden Hill Community Garden is planning two Christmas Wreath Making Days, giving you the chance to make a beautiful and unique wreath for your door.

The events will be on Saturday 5th and Saturday 12th December from 10am – 4pm, with sessions taking place throughout the day.  You will learn to weave a hoop made out of willow which you can then decorate with glorious winter foliage!

Each session will be about 90-minutes long and will take place outdoors or in the garden’s polytunnels, with small groups of people very spaced out.

Sessions must be booked here and cost £15 each (£5 for additional people), £7.50 for under-16s, and children aged 0-4 years go free.  This event is an important fundraising activity for the garden; if the event has to be cancelled, you will be refunded minus £5, as this event will cost the garden money even if it does not take place.

If you have your own gloves, secateurs and scissors please do bring them along.  Dogs on leads are welcome along.

If you have any questions about this event please contact Lucy Mitchell on ghcgarden@gmail.com or 07506 905 394.
