If you are an owner of a cat, dog or any other pet, and their food comes in plastic pouches or plastic dry food bags, the Moggery will be grateful to receive these!
The Bristol cat and kitten rehoming centre charity is collecting the plastic food pouches as part of TerraCycle UK’s pet food pouch recycling programme, helping to eliminate waste and bringing in some much-needed funds to the Moggery at the same time.
There is a large red wheelie bin outside the Moggery to drop-off your food pouches; this is located at 65 Longmead Avenue, BS7 8QB (opposite Horfield Prison).
The plastic pouches should be clean and dry, and if possible, flat as this makes it easier for the volunteers to pack the boxes of pouches which are sent off to TerraCycle.
Unfortunately, the Moggery is unable to take cans, cardboard, trays or plastic multipack wrapping.
The Moggery Rehoming Centre is a non-profit charity, set up to help rehabilitate and rehome cats. To find out more please visit https://www.themoggery.org.uk/.
