🔧Did you know that there’s a Repair Café at The Ardagh on Horfield Common?

Held on the third Saturday of every month, The Repair Café gives local people the chance to bring along broken household items and see if volunteer repairers can help fix them.

Depending on the volunteers available at each session, repairs can include things such as:

• Small electrical items
• Household items
• Toys
• Clothing and textiles
• Other everyday belongings

The idea is simple: repair what you already have rather than buying something new.

While repairing something can save the cost of replacing it, it’s also a chance for you to learn more about how things work and pick up some practical repair skills.

The Repair Café takes place at The Ardagh, Kellaway Avenue, Horfield Common, Bristol BS6 7YL.

Sessions are free, although donations are welcome.

👉 Check the Bishopston Mum ‘What’s On’ page for Repair Café dates.

Please check with the Repair Café about whether your particular item can be repaired before bringing it along.
