Summer Holiday Club Activities for Kids aged 5 – 12 in St Andrew’s Park with The Outdoors Project

Do you have active, energetic children aged 5 – 12 in need of entertaining over the summer holidays?

If so, you will be pleased to hear that The Outdoors Project have lots of fantastic high-energy holiday club activity days in St Andrew’s Park planned!

Activities include Nerf gun battles, water games, a BFG Special, forest school, circus skills,  bush crafts, ninja warrior assault courses and much more!

Each day will be from 10am – 2.30pm and all sessions will be held at St Andrew’s Park apart from the Tribal Survival Day in the Woods which at Oldbury Court and the climbing day at BLOC Climbing Centre.

You can book as many of the holiday club sessions as you wish. Each session is £22 per child (apart from the climbing day: £28). If you book 5 sessions you will receive a discount and only be charged for the price of 4 (phone booking only – Tel: 01273 933781).

All instructors are CRB/DBS checked and first aid qualified.

MONDAY 25th JULY

Bush Craft Mega Day: Bush Craft Shelter Building Session learning techniques and types. Bush Craft Fire Lighting Challenges and Tinder Flaming Fire Pits workshop, followed by Adventure Games Session

TUESDAY 26th JULY

Explore Forest School: Minibeast Madness! Search for the minibeasts hiding away in the park, make sculptures, mini homes and mud models.

The BFG Special: Join The Outdoors Project in Giant Country on a snozzcumber hunt, making dream catchers, dream jars and potion making. Playing Giant’s House and other giant adventure games. Please no frobscottle drinking or whizzpoping!

THURSDAY 28th JULY

Explore Forest School: Rope challenge. Learn to create bridges, trails and structures using rope and some basic knots. Can your team complete the challenge? Giant Bubble Mania – Giant Bubble Wand Making Workshop – big and small wands and Air Toys Fun and Games Mayhem followed by Adventure Games Session.

FRIDAY 29th JULY

Water Games Special: Nerf Water Battles – Wet & Wild Challenges, Dress for mess – VERY WET!! Adventure Maze Challenges followed by Ninja Warriors Assault Course and Adventure Games session.

WEEK 2

MONDAY 1st AUGUST

Tribal Survival Day In The Woods: Starting with an adventure walk, The Outdoors Project team will be taking the kids to a woodland location within walking distance to choose their tribes and build to survive. Tribes will need to think about Survival, Fire, Shelter, Food and Water, Protection and other tribal encounters

TUESDAY 2nd AUGUST

Circus Skills: International circus performer, MADDIE MAYHEM: Duo, trio and group acrobatics, clowning workshop including Hoops, Diabolo and Poi.

Orienteering: Create your own map of St Andrew’s Park; discover hidden secrets, identify 8 different trees including the one special Rowan tree, build a 3D version of the park and race to the end.

Stream Walk: Scrambling, Rope Swing, Cave Hunting, River paddling, Exploring. This is a big day, for the most intrepid. Bring a change of clothes and boots/shoes that can get wet.

Climbing: 1.5 hours of Climbing! Climb up commando style on the Jungle Gym, reach new heights on the skyscraper or race friends up Face to Face. Followed by Miniature Raft building, Air Toys and Adventure Games.
