Introducing ‘Inclusive Family Holiday Adventure Days’ at The Golden Hill Community Garden

Golden Hill 1I am really pleased to introduce ‘Inclusive Family Holiday Adventure Days’ at the Golden Hill Community Garden to Bishopston Mum readers: adventure days for families with a child with special educational needs or a disability.

Funded by the Local Small Grants Wellbeing fund from Bristol City Council, the Inclusive Family Holiday Adventure days will be accessible and fun packed for the whole family, including siblings.

There will be sensory trails, silly games, cooking on the fire, singing and music, pizza from the frog, and all sorts of garden loveliness!

The days are aimed at 5-12 year olds, however, there are no age restrictions and everyone is welcome and sessions will be just £5 per child. Booking is essential and priority will be given to families living in/near Horfield, Bishopston, Cotham, Redland and St Andrews.

There are two dates already confirmed for 11am – 3pm on Thursday 28th July and 4th August and another date will soon be confirmed.

If you are interested or you know another family who might be, please contact Lucy Mitchell,  Community Project Worker on 07506 905 394 / ghcgarden@gmail.com.
