Christmas Wreath Making Workshop at Golden Hill Community Garden: Saturday 3rd December

2On Saturday 3rd December the Golden Hill Community Garden will be holding a Christmas Wreath Making Workshop.

At the workshop both children and adults can drop-in to learn to make a natural Christmas wreath made from foliage from the local allotments, plus take their wreath home to display!

My daughter and I did the workshop last year at the Community Garden and had a great time making our wreaths!

The workshop is between 10am – 4pm and is £10 to take part. No pre-booking is required, simply drop-by on the day any time before 3pm.

And, if the weather is cold or wet on the day don’t worry, there is indoor space at the garden to keep warm in!

You can find the Golden Hill Community Garden through the gates at the end of Monk Road, behind Bishop Road School and Horfield Prison. The post code is BS7 8NE.

If you are unable to make the Christmas Wreath Workshop but would like to learn how to make a wreath anyway, here are some simple instructions.

Do keep an eye on the Bishopston Mum Facebook Page for lots more family-friendly Christmassy events taking place in and near Bishopston over the next few weeks!
