This Saturday it will be the annual Golden Hill Community Garden’s Spring Fair! The event takes place from 1pm- 4pm and there will be lots of fun activities to enjoy.
They’ll be drumming, the Gert Lush Choir, the wonderful What the Folk? home-made pizzas, crafts for children AND grown ups, cakes and indoor sensory space and more!
The garden’s volunteers have been very busy planting, pricking out and potting on so will have a wide range of lovely plants ready for sale, too.
The garden also has a brand new smart ‘Golden Hill Community Garden’ sign to show off! The old one blew down 4 years ago and the garden volunteers have recently been busy designing and making the new one.
All are welcome to the Spring Fair so do come along; it’s always a wonderful, friendly atmosphere.
Entrance is £1 per adult and kids go free. Find the garden on Monk Road behind the prison.
