As writer of Bishopston Mum, I have spent the last nine years working with local shops and businesses, and in doing so, have met some really great people.  One such business I have recently visited several times is the Little Bathroom & Boiler Company which is located at 32 Gloucester Road North, Northville, BS7 0SJ.

The Little Bathroom & Boiler Company is owned by James Jesson, a successful plumber for over 20 years, and his wife, Joanne, and was opened in March this year.

James is a local man, having been born and brought up in the local area, and is honest and very proud of his business.  James offers stylish and good-quality products, and good, honest advice to his customers as well.

A family-man, James has a little boy and girl, plus, there’s another little one on the way, too.  James’s little girl enjoys visiting the shop every Saturday to “help out”; James wants the Little Bathroom & Boiler Company to be welcoming to other families, too.

He was very friendly and welcoming to my own children when we visited, offering them a desk to sit at to do some colouring on (there’s also a mini-desk especially for very young children to sit at and play!).

The Little Bathroom & Boiler Company’s Shop Manager is Simon Thompson, also a family-man and a genuinely nice guy who will give you a friendly welcome when you visit.

James told me that he tries to make visiting the shop as nice an experience as possible, and he sees his role as a real “privilege”.

The Little Bathroom & Boiler Company sells stylish bathroom products, in both traditional and contemporary designs.

Products include both free-standing and fitted bathroom furniture, such as baths, toilets, sinks and showers, plus fixtures and fittings such as mirrors, towel rails, tiles and taps.

And, of course, the shop also sells boilers: less exciting than beautiful bathroom furniture and fittings, but totally necessary!

If you would like to visit the Little Bathroom & Boiler Company, there is parking available both directly outside, plus there’s also a nearby carpark which offers free parking.

Tuesday: 8am – 4.30pm
Wednesday: Closed
Thursday: 8am – 4.30pm
Friday: 8am – 4.30pm
Saturday: 10am – 2pm
Sunday: Closed
